Hi, I’m Jaime. You can call me JLove.

I help people build the internal safety required for real intimacy — with themselves, with others, and with life.

My work supports individuals and couples who are self-aware, growth-oriented, and ready to move beyond insight alone. People who understand their patterns, but still find themselves stuck in cycles of self-abandonment, emotional shutdown, longing, or disconnection when it actually matters.

This work is about capacity.
The capacity to stay present.
To feel desire, fear, love, grief, and vulnerability without losing yourself.
To relate from clarity instead of urgency, chemistry, or old survival strategies.

I didn’t come to this work from theory alone.

My approach is shaped by lived experience.

Like many people drawn to intimacy work, I spent years understanding my patterns intellectually while still struggling to feel safe inside my body and in relationship. I knew why I reacted the way I did, but insight alone wasn’t enough to change how intimacy felt in real time.

What changed everything was learning how to move from insight into embodiment.
From coping into capacity.
From managing relationships to actually inhabiting myself within them.

That journey is what informs my work today.

I don’t rush healing.
I don’t override the nervous system.
And I don’t believe intimacy requires fixing yourself.

I believe love requires safety, self-trust, and the ability to stay connected to yourself, especially when things feel tender.

This work is about coming home to yourself, so love no longer requires urgency, performance, or self-abandonment.

What Shapes My Work

I bring over a decade of experience in somatic and relational practices into my work, including:

  • Trauma-informed somatic energy healing
  • Tantra and embodied intimacy practices
  • Attachment-aware relational work
  • Nervous system regulation and emotional processing
  • Yoga and meditation (taught since 2013)
  • Group facilitation, workshops, and retreats

I’m a Reiki Master Teacher and trained Tao Hands practitioner, and I’ve spent years guiding people through emotional healing, intimacy repair, and relational growth — both privately and in group settings.

What matters most to me isn’t technique.
It’s discernment.

Knowing when to slow down.
Knowing how to stay present.
Knowing how to choose connection without self-abandonment.

HOW I WORK (VALUES + CONTAINER)

How I hold this work

My work is relational, somatic, and embodied.

That means we don’t just talk about patterns, we work with the body, emotions, and relational field where those patterns live. Sessions are paced, attuned, and guided by what your nervous system can integrate.

I prioritize:

  • emotional safety and consent
  • personal responsibility over blame
  • clarity over urgency
  • embodiment over performance
  • depth without overwhelm

I don’t rush process or push outcomes.
We move at the pace that allows real change to take root.

How I Work

I work primarily with individuals and couples who want to relate differently, not perfectly, but honestly.

My sessions are bespoke, but they follow a clear methodology I call The Capacity for Love. The work is somatic, relational, and embodied.

We don’t just talk about patterns.
We work with the body, emotions, and lived experience where those patterns actually live.

This allows intimacy to become steadier, safer, and more alive, from the inside out.

A Note on Love

This work isn’t only about romantic partnership.
Love shows up in how you relate to yourself.
How you set boundaries.
How you tolerate closeness.
How you handle disappointment, desire, and change.
When your capacity for love grows, all of your relationships shift, romantic, familial, professional, and personal.
This is the work of coming home to yourself, so love no longer requires urgency, performance, or self-abandonment.

If You’re Feeling the Pull

I offer private 1:1 somatic support, couples intimacy work, group workshops, and retreats.

I’m based in Toronto and work with clients worldwide.

If you’re curious about working together, the next step is a consultation to explore whether this work is the right fit for you.

Training & Lineage

My work is informed by over a decade of study and practice across somatic healing, embodiment, and relational work. I draw from multiple lineages and modalities, integrating them in a way that is responsive, grounded, and trauma-informed.

My background includes training in:

Somatic, Trauma-Informed & Nervous System Work

  • Trauma-informed training with Dr. Gabor Maté
  • Somatic and embodiment-based emotional processing
  • Nervous system regulation and relational safety

Tantra, Intimacy & Relational Practice

  • International School of Temple Arts (ISTA) Level 1 and Living Level 1
  • ISTA Assistant for Level 1 and Integration trainings
  • Tantric intimacy, consent, and relational embodiment practices

Energy Healing & Spiritual Lineages

  • Reiki Levels I, II, and Master Teacher
  • Tao Healing Hands (Levels 1 & 2)
  • Shamanic and earth-based healing traditions
  • Duality Energy training

Yoga, Movement & Body-Based Awareness

  • 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training (Hatha & Vinyasa)
  • Yin, Restorative, Yoga Nidra, and trauma-sensitive practices
  • Pilates, Thai Massage, and myofascial release foundations

Rather than applying any single modality, I integrate these teachings in service of one thing: helping people build the internal safety required for intimacy, clarity, and connection.
